Ansteys Boats

A painting which has mellow tones and which reflects the changeable sky in both the waves and the rocks of Ansteys.

The sky is warm which softens the jagged rocks of Ansteys.  The softness is continued in the boats as they point their way to Ansteys in the distance.

The distant bubbling of the clouds is almost a continuation of the  rocks on both sides of the painting.
